With 236M followers on YouTube and millions more across other channels, his rise to fame has given him the chance to launch his own products, like Feastables, a line of chocolate bars, and become one of the highest-paid social media influencers. 

Cristiano Ronaldo

A Portuguese football player with 619M followers on Instagram, Cristiano is a well-known athlete and celebrity. His account contains pictures of him on the field, enjoying family time, and promoting merchandise, like his own fragrance. His fame lands him on many “highest-paid” lists as well.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez, the singer and actress, is the star of “Only Murders in the Building” on Hulu and has a wide fan base that spans generations. She’s known for authentic content and has solid engagement with followers.

Dwayne Johnson

Rising to fame as a WWE wrestler, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now on the big screen. He has a list of starring roles in movies like the Fast and Furious franchise and endorses a variety of brands on social like the energy drink ZOA.

Kim Kardashian

Is any list of internet stars complete without Kim Kardashian? She has millions of followers, and isn’t shy about sharing her life on social.

Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry is among Forbes’ highest-paid entertainers, pulling in an estimated $175 million last year. The director, actor, and writer is involved in TV, specifically BET specials and films. 

Bad Bunny

A Puerto Rican rapper who’s won over fans with his unique blend of Caribbean reggae and rap, Bad Bunny is a rising star in 2024. While he generates most of his money from his singing career, he recently starred with Brad Pitt in “Bullet Train.” His most recent choice to delete all but two of his pictures on Instagram, where he has 46.5M followers, also made internet headlines.

Alix Earle

Sometimes called TikTok’s “It Girl,” Alix enjoys sharing GRWM (get ready with me) videos with her 6.4 million followers on TikTok. Many of her videos focus on cosmetics, which explains why she often partners with beauty brands.

Molly Burke

Molly describes herself as a “typical sushi and makeup-loving millennial who also happens to be blind.” She has open discussions about her lack of vision and the accessibility of different places, like Disney World. 

Khaby Lame 

A Senegalese-Italian social media star, Khaby has earned the attention of millions for silently mocking the overly complicated “life hacks” shared by others. Khaby is now set to make his first acting debut as a food delivery rider who the CIA recruits. 

Markiplier

Markiplier started his YouTube career by posting gaming videos where he comedically comments on characters and offers his feedback on games. Now he posts a variety of content, including what it’s like to be a content creator. After a decade on the channel, he has fiercely loyal fans.

Ryan Kaji

Ryan’s mom started posting her son’s toy reviews and unboxing videos on YouTube years ago, and today, Ryan has his own line of toys and his own show on Nickelodeon, Ryan’s World. Ryan and his family are part of several thriving YouTube channels, including one that features the entire Kaji family.

Known as the “Internet’s magician,” Zach’s videos are funny and leave you wondering, “How’d he do that?” The optical illusionist shows a combination of sleight-of-hand and amazing editing techniques, and sometimes, he even shows followers how tricks are done.

Addison, like many on our list of Internet Stars of 2024, has used her social media success to grow her career. Her humble beginnings as a lip-syncer and dancer on TikTok have transformed into a record deal and her own line of perfume.

Jeremy Allen White

With this TV debut on Shameless, Jeremy Allen White is currently making headlines for his role in The Bear. The 32-year-old Brooklyn native is a Calvin Klein model and a new dad. He shares snaps of his celebrity life and everyday life on Instagram.

Zendaya

Zendaya’s role in the motion picture “Dune” gives her name recognition, but this 27-year-old got her start on the Disney channel. She has a variety of awards to her name, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy, and the actress interacts with her 184M Instagram followers regularly.

Marques Brownlee

An ultimate frisbee player who takes to YouTube to review the latest tech, Marques fills his channel with reviews of gadgets like Apple Vision Pro, Bluetooth speakers, and smartwatches. He has landed interviews with names, asked tech-focused questions during presidential debates, and has millions of listeners on his podcast.

Bella Poarche

Hailing from the Philippines, Bella recently signed a record deal after gaining traction on social media for lip-syncing. She served several years in the Marines and was stationed in Japan and Hawaii before finding Internet fame. 

Victoria Garrick Browne

A staunch mental health advocate, Victoria has shared her experience with anxiety as a D1 college athlete. A former USC volleyball player, Victoria now runs a nonprofit called The Other Opponent, which focuses on mental health awareness.

KSI

Olajide Olatunji, known as KSI to his followers, got his start on social by reviewing FIFA video games. Now he’s a boxer, rapper, and the co-founder of Prime Hydration, a company he started with YouTuber Logan Paul. His content is sometimes controversial and has riled followers in the past.
