At IZEA, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. One of the ways we put this belief into action is through our annual Adopt a Family initiative, part of our IZEACares program.
Each year, our IZEACares Committee sponsors a family in need, helping them to fulfill their wish list. In 2023, we were not only able to provide for our adopted family but also extended our reach to support an additional 11 children.
Our team members contribute cash and items from the families’ wish lists. Volunteers from our Michigan team then wrap up these gifts and deliver them, bringing a little holiday magic to these deserving families.

With the help of our fellow IZEAns, we have been able to bring some holiday joy to those who need it the most. It has been such a heartwarming experience.”
In 2023, we surpassed our donation goal by an impressive 114%. We were able to support our initial family, as well as get gifts for 11 foster children from a local organization. We also gathered a surplus of toys and clothes to donate to the Foster Closet. These items will provide much-needed warmth during the winter months.
Our Adopt a Family initiative is a testament to the caring spirit and generosity of the IZEA team. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and look forward to spreading more joy in 2024.
