Team Member RSU Equity

Grants of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) equal to a percentage of a team member’s yearly salary that are awarded in quarterly increments.

Discounted Stock Purchase Plan

Subject to program qualifications, team members may purchase shares of IZEA stock through payroll deductions over a six-month period at a 15% discount off the market price.

Team members are eligible for an annual stipend of up to $1,000 to spend on events, books and classes designed to further their professional development.

Vacations & Holidays

During their first year of employment at IZEA, team members will receive 29 paid time off (PTO) days, composed of 15 fixed company holidays, four ad-hoc, “floating” holidays and up to 10 unfixed PTO days that accrue.

Meet the Talent Acquisition Team

Associate Vice President, Talent Acquisition

Melissia Bruehl

Melissia leads the Talent Acquisition team responsible for the overall recruitment, sourcing and nurturing strategies and implementation at IZEA. She also partners with internal teams to focus on employer branding and improve the candidate and new-hire experience.

Before joining IZEA in 2014, Melissia spent 12 years with Disney Parks and Resorts in various roles, including training, leadership and recruitment. She holds a bachelor of arts in speech and hearing science, a bachelor of business administration in MIS from the University of Iowa, and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Melissia resides in Orlando with her husband and twin daughters.

Senior Recruiter

Jasmine Cooper

Jasmine is a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist with over seven years of experience identifying, attracting and hiring top talent for organizations across industries. She manages the entire recruitment process and works closely with hiring managers to understand and meet staffing needs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has a background in customer service and management. Jasmine specializes in various recruitment strategies and building strong relationships with candidates and clients. She resides in Middle Georgia with her husband and son.

Senior Recruiter

Cathy Rodger

Cathy is an experienced technical recruiter with over 20 years of expertise in talent acquisition. She has a bachelor of science degree from Eastern Michigan University and has held various roles in technical recruitment, management and sales. As a technical recruiter at IZEA, Cathy is responsible for sourcing and recruiting engineering talent, but she is also skilled at filling a variety of roles. Prior to joining IZEA, Cathy spent most of her career working at staffing agencies where she recruited for clients in diverse industries. Cathy currently lives in Michigan with her husband and teenage children.
