Today we released one major new feature to PayPerPost, “Benching”.  Advertisers now have a new control available in the opportunity creation process.  This allows them to select an amount of time to bench blogs from showing up on the matches list within their account.  This ensures you will get a more diverse pool of blogs to chose from on all of your opportunities.  Benching prevents the bloggers who have already written a  post for you from appearing in your account for a specified length of time after they submit a post to one of your opportunities.  When you set up your opp, you can turn the benching off, or have it set for 30, 60, or 90 days.  We’ve defaulted all the opportunities in the system to the 30 day benching option.  All new posts submitted will be benched.  This is not retroactive, so the benching will not affect posts that were submitted before we made these changes.

We also added a slew of other features that you won’t be able to see.  We’ve added more tools to help our customer service team provide you with the highest quality support.  And we’ve also beefed up our fraud prevention measures.  Just know that if you’re trying to use a stolen credit card, we will find you and make sure your activity is reported to the proper authorities.

Please let us know what you think about the changes.  If you run into any issues, drop us a line on our Get Satisfaction help section.
