The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) was founded in 1996 with its very first season being the next year. As of today, there are 25 teams. Chiney Ogwumike

Chiney is a well-known WNBA all-star and was the first Black woman and first WNBA player to host a national radio show for ESPN. She’s also a White House Council Member. LaChina Robinson

LaChina isn’t a WNBA player, but she’s a basketball influencer all the same. She talks about both the WNBA and college basketball on ESPN and NBC. LaChina is a basketball analyst and shares topics about the WNBA frequently.
