Sailing is a sport you might not even think about being incorporated into the Olympic Games, but it’s one you’ll see in Paris in 2024. The rules of sailing are simple, but sailing itself is not simple. It takes a dedicated athlete to move the boat solely with the power of the wind. Sailing influencers and athletes are sometimes the most affected by weather and the conditions outside, meaning you need to practice and master many types of skills. Here’s a look at sailing athletes who show off their skills on Instagram.

Erika is a 12-time U.S. Sailing Team athlete who has qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games. She started sailing when she was just 8 years old. She shares her love for sailing on Instagram as a micro-influencer.

Three-time U.S. sailing champion Stuart shares his sailing journey on Instagram. He’s also a four-time Olympian and will soon share his fifth time at the Paris Olympics.

Lara recently qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics and participated in the Tokyo Olympics. Lara has just over 11K followers on Instagram and gives an inside look at the life of a sailing athlete.

Noah is on a mission to get to the Olympics and has made it to the top 20 sailing athletes in the world. He’s hoping to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris in the Last Chance Regatta in April.
