While planning on a tablet or mobile calendar is perfect for those easy to-do lists, what about if you’re looking for something a bit more creative? Paper planning has been popular for years, particularly on YouTube, but plan-with-me influencers are also popping up on Instagram, and TikTok has over 281 million views on the #planwithme hashtag.

Paper planning gives people space to be creative and write things down and it doesn’t come with the distractions of being connected to a device. Paper planners like Erin Condren, The Happy Planner and Bullet Journal each come with their own styles of creativity. But paper planning isn’t just about the planner — finding the right markers and pens, stickers, washi tape, and even personal photos can help planners be as creative as comfortable for them. These plan-with-me influencers share the joys of pretty and productive planning with their followers.
