One of the great things that sets IZEA apart in this big, crazy corporate world is our culture. As our company grows and our worldwide team gets bigger and bigger, we are happy to hold onto traditions that have made IZEA what it is today. If you didn’t already know, IZEA conducts quarterly in-house workshops to develop and hone our team’s skills and also serve as a fun outlet for team building. We call this IZEA Loco. We are a hard-working, fun-loving bunch who enjoy getting together to learn, grow and bowl…in ridiculous costumes. And that is exactly what we did during our July IZEA Loco!
We started our Loco week with a day-long workshop for our Client Development Team. All of the influencer and client-facing members of our team were part of this workshop at the beautiful Alfond Inn near our HQ in Winter Park, FL. This was an excellent opportunity to better our team, as well as acknowledge their accomplishments during the last quarter. 
Following the Client Development meeting, there was an all-company meeting where we not only talked about last quarter’s successes and growth, but also focused on how we plan to continue the path to success in the next quarter. It was a great time for new and old team members alike to learn more about IZEA and all of its growth initiatives!
After the meetings and workshops wrapped, it was time to set aside our newly gained knowledge and have some good old-fashioned fun! We converged on downtown Orlando’s Colonial Lanes bowling alley on Friday afternoon ready for some wacky bowling. Split into teams with self-appointed team names (and themes to match) we certainly brought the noise and the funk! From the David Bowlies to Santa’s Little Strikers, IZEAns of all kinds enjoyed bowling and some quality bonding time.
It was an IZEA Loco to remember and, as always, we are proud of the hard work and accomplishments of our team each and every quarter. We are also proud of their quirky nature and uncanny ability to infuse fun and originality into everything they do…even bowling!
