Every office needs that one person who seems to do it all. They are the go-to for almost every question. They are the person who can be tasked with anything and will see it through to the end. For us, that person is the multi-talented Jenni Sandells.
The Girl Who Does it All
Jenni has been with IZEA for five and a half years and is our Operations Manager. She wears many hats for us. Her duties include office management, finance and human resources. She also writes contracts and agreements, and deals with the minor fraud. The only things she doesn’t really have a hand in are the actual selling of our services and web development.
Jenni graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interpersonal Communications. After school, she was a manager of a retail store then obtained a job in sales. Luckily for us, she wasn’t a huge fan of either of those positions and she ended up here.
On a personal note, Jenni loves to travel and dreams of one day living in the South of France. She has an adorable beagle named Buster.
How She Does it All
With so much on her plate, time management and organization are key. Jenni has constant To-Do lists. She keeps her calendar up-to-date and it is filled with little notes reminding her when to follow up on her various assignments.
One of the most challenging aspects of her job is having patience. Many of Jenni’s assignments require input from colleagues either in or outside the office. She often has to wait for those people to get back to her before moving forward. This can be frustrating at times, but she has learned to have patience.
For Jenni, the most rewarding aspect of her job is the IZEA team. She loves the environment and everyone here.
