A triathlon is an endurance multi-sport race that consists of running, swimming, and biking. Athletes race to the finish, trying to get the best time possible, but as you’d expect, there’s a lot of training involved. The combined records and resumes of this list of triathlon influencers are nothing short of impressive. Some are legends in the sport, while others are just making their debut. Either way, the content they share focuses on their love of all things triathlon.

Kristian has a list of impressive wins to his name, including the 2020 Olympic gold medalist, 2021 World Triathlon Champion, 2021 Ironman World Champion, and 2022 Ironman 70.3 World Champion. His Instagram is full of training shots, including sea-level training and snaps of him on the top of the podium.  

Flora started her professional career in 2006 with a second-place win in the Junior ITU. Fast-forward years, and she’s still claiming wins. Her performance at the 2020 Olympics was so impressive that she’s now mentioned among triathlete greats. Fans can follow her races and milestones, like recently being named Dame Flora Duffy in the U.K.

A 25-year-old German athlete, Nina claimed the gold medal in the Rome World Cup. She shares her budding career on Instagram, where fans can see pictures of her perfect diving form, races and how she spends her off-season. 

An Aussie and mom of three, Miranda is a three-time Iron Man World Champion. Married to triathlete Timothy O’Donnell, the toned runner has retired from the sport and is now training others while spending time with her family.

Fifty-year-old Craig has competed all over the world. He’s racked up a list of titles, including three-time IronMan World Champion. Known as “Crowie” to his fans and friends, the athlete has retired but joined a team of endurance coaches in 2014 to offer consulting and clinics. 

A 41-year-old resident of Spain, Javier’s Instagram bio says, “I swim, bike, and run around the world.” It’s a fair description for the athlete with five ITU world champions, an Olympic silver medal, and several IronMan championships on his resume. An accountant turned triathlete, Gwen Jorgensen had 13 consecutive World Triathlon Series wins that spanned 2014 to 2016 and two ITU World Championship titles. She left the circuit for a while, but she’s back at it, hoping to qualify for the Paris Olympics in 2024. Her Instagram is full of family snaps and meal ideas to stay fit. 

Tim had a breakthrough season in 2021, scoring silver at the U23 World Championships and winning gold at WTCS Hamburg. The German athlete dedicates his Instagram to the sport, where he showcases his training, friendships, and some side trips he can take while traveling to compete.

With a list of long-distance wins in the late 90s and early 2000s, Natashca participates in the sport but spends her time as a social worker in Switzerland. She still travels to many races, but rather than competing, she provides color commentary for the broadcast.  

Being an elite athlete is in Alistair’s blood. His dad was a runner, his mom was a swimmer, and his uncle was a triathlete who introduced young Alistair to the sport when he was just a boy. A six-time Iron Man Champion, Dave is a master coach for the sport. An OG competitor in the first IronMan and inducted as IronMan’s first Hall of Fame athlete, Dave coaches big names like Chrissie Wellington and Craig Alexander.

A Swiss phenom, Daniela started triathlons in 1998 and turned it into her profession in 2007. Like many athletes on this list, she has her share of titles and wins, with her most recent record-breaking finish at Challenge Roth in Germany. Hayden decided to try a triathlon after seeing it in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Years later, he’d win the bronze medal in the sport in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The 26-year-old hails from New Zealand and shares his training and athletic milestones on Instagram with his 62K followers. 

Taylor joined the USA Triathlon’s National Team in 2016 and had her best-ever season in 2019 with two World Triathlon Series podium placings and a 4th overall ranking in the WTS series. A young French athlete with a promising future, Emma had impressive performances at the European Cup race and World Cup races. At just 21, experts say she’ll be quite a force at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Her 26K followers watch her train, travel and spend time on the track. 

A Harvard-educated triathlete from Germany, Lisa was part of the victorious German quartet at the Paris Mixed Relay Test Event and took home a personal win at the World Triathlon Cup in Tangier. A French triathlete hailing from the jungle of New Caledonia, Leo won the 2022 World Triathlon Championship. He left the island at the age of 15 to hone his craft. Today, the racer works with sponsors, trains hard, and shares travel pictures featuring his wife and dog on Instagram.
