What originally attracted you to SponsoredTweets, and how did you find out about it?
I found out from friends. Heard nothing but good things about the site. I thought it was a great way to earn some extra money while helping sponsors I like. I decided why not it was a Win Win for everyone.
What do you love most about Twitter?
I love that it’s a constant news feed that’s to the point in 140 characters or less. I love how it’s a great way to interact with fans as well as well as “celebrities” or your heroes you would never be able to talk to without. The fact you learn about what your favorite celebrities or companies direct from them without a middle man is so awesome! You don’t feel like it’s all PR but really just direct communication. I love how you can express yourself even if you have to make sure it’s under 140 characters lol.
Finish this: Without Twitter I would…
I would have joined Facebook sooner lol. I joined twitter first and felt there was no need for it since I still have a myspace(which nobody uses anymore or hardly anyone). I do have a Facebook now, but I was a Tweeter first & love the community. I think Facebook also learned a lot from Twitter.
What do you feel encourages engagement with your audience?
Opinions and asking for opinions definitely engaging. I always ask fans for feedback. Infact I don’t know what I do without feedback from youtube comments or @replays. Having a opinion really gets people talking about you but people feel better when you ask them what they think also on the same matter.
How do you make it easy to stay connected with your followers?
Just always reading my @replays I don’t have a million followers(not yet) so it’s a lot easier to get back to people. I care about my family, friends, and of course my fans and without them I’d be nothing so I make it easy to talk to me on any social media as much as I can.
Whatʼs your preferred blend of tweets made up of: RTs, links, original content etc?
I mostly promote my videos which is my main job, so it’s links to my videos when I post them which twitter is perfect to promote them. I also RT my friends or fans. I try to keep it balanced but with mostly my content or opinions.
Any advice for Tweeters new to SponsoredTweets?
Just be patience with Sponsors woking with you and be open to Sponsors and easy to work with as long as it’s companies you want to work with.
What do you love about IZEA and SponsoredTweets?
It’s easy to have sponsors work with you and how it’s helping everyone. It’s a total WIN WIN!
