Meditation has been around since 1500 BCE. Nowadays you can find apps, in-person teachings, influencers and YouTube channels focused on meditation and how it can help you.

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health.” Meditation doesn’t only help you while you’re actively practicing, though. A healthy meditation practice can help you approach your entire day with a better mindset and because it helps reduce stress, it can even help with certain medical conditions.

Finding meditation influencers or channels to watch is a personal choice for the viewer as well as a brand. You want to find the right type of meditation for you while taking into consideration how connected you feel to the teacher, music or “vibes.”

Jason Stephensen releases new meditation music for sleep to his 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube every week. Jason is dedicated to sharing a “peace” of his life with you, as he says in his YouTube description. He believes that with meditation, guided visualization, inspiring talks, and relaxation music, his subscribers will be able to open themselves up to changes of “immense harmony for your body, mind and spirit.” His meditations are purely for sleep and relaxing to the fullest.

Rochelle Fox

Rochelle Fox has dubbed herself “That Meditation Girl” on Instagram and is a meditation teacher and coach at Mindspo. With 139,000 followers on Instagram, Rochelle shares self-love content and has even built an app, Manifestie App.

The Honest Guys – Meditations – Relaxation

The Honest Guys create meditation and relaxation videos on YouTube. They have more than 1 million subscribers and 390 million views on their videos, which include themed meditations like this Middle Earth meditation that’s “Lord of the Rings” inspired. They’ve even done videos for the holidays.

Sharon Salzberg

Sharon, an 11-time author, has been teaching meditation since 1974. A teacher turned Instagram influencer, Sharon has accumulated almost 130,000 followers and creates short, loving kindness reels and inspiring quotes and reminders for her followers.

The Mindful Movement

The Mindful Movement on YouTube, run by Sara and Les, was created as a place to tap into your inner self, improve your happiness and take care of yourself using meditation and yoga. You can find hundreds of meditation and relaxation videos to fit what you’re looking for in the moment. They also have a meditation Instagram account that promotes their YouTube channel and where they share a bit more meditation inspiration.

Sara Auster is an author, sound therapist and meditation teacher on Instagram. Sara shares beautiful sound bath content and even occasionally does live sound baths that you can join in on. Sara also runs retreats around the world and provides ASM Sound Bath Training so others can learn to create relaxation and meditation through sound like she does.

Melanie Beckler

Melanie Beckler of Ask Angels on YouTube and Instagram is an author, artist and mystic who shares deep meditation and oracle readings on her channel with her 286,000 subscribers. She does live meditations as well as meditations to activate light and love into your life.
