After a fun-filled night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, IZEAFest attendees regrouped at Disney’s Dolphin Hotel for day two of IZEAFest 2015. The speaker lineup – highlighted by keynote speaker Mario Lopez of Extra – included top social influencers, entrepreneurs and best-selling authors.

The morning session began with career mentor Simon Bailey, who shared words of motivation from his book, Shift your Brilliance: Harness the Power of You, on how to improve your life and business. IZEAFest attendees walked away with a free copy of the book to use as a roadmap to “shift their brilliance.”

Other morning panels included Return on Content, which dove into the marketer’s perspective on the value of social content and measuring social posts, and Home is Where Your Art is, which explored how Creators are able to utilize their homes as productive studios. Moderated by HGTV Stars John and Whitney Spinks, the panel shared tips and tricks on how to create quality content in a home setting. Attendees also learned more about livestreaming platforms in Going Live, a panel on how to integrate applications such as YouTube Live Events, Periscope and Meerkat into Sponsored Social campaigns.

The afternoon lineup kicked off with dynamic speaker Scott Straten, who shared tips on how to create repeat customers, not one- time buyers. Through a series of entertaining examples of brands’ dos-and- donts on social media, Straten shared social media best practices to create loyal customers.

Mario Lopez then joined IZEA CEO Ted Murphy on stage to present his much anticipated keynote on celebrity sponsorships. Mario shared the ins-and-outs of how he chooses which brands to work with, tips on how to build your own brand and his thoughts on how social media has created new kinds of celebrities. And, of course, the session concluded with one epic selfie.

To close out the afternoon, IZEAFest attendees enjoyed another surprised performance – this time by beatbox artist Nicole Paris, best known for her viral YouTube battle with her father. Mario Lopez returned to the stage alongside Vine stars Rajiv Dhall and Andrew Bazzi.

Joel Comm lead our Search and Destroy keynote where we learned that cats riding bacon through the universe RULE the internet. As well as tips and tricks to get your social content indexed across various platforms so that people can discover you quicker and easier.

Our final panel, featuring IZEA’s own Bill Momary, Mercury Marine’s Lee Gordon, Lenovo’s Lewis Broadnax, James Hills of ManTripping, and Nicole Paris once again spoke to The Rules of Content…and how, Content Rules! They covered  best practices for creating compelling content, do’s and don’ts for both Brands and individual content Creators, biggest real-time Sponsored Social marketing fails, and more.
