Orlando, Florida (May 24, 2023) –  IZEA Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: IZEA), the premier provider of influencer marketing technology, data, and services for the world’s leading brands and agencies, today announced it has been awarded a series of contracts with a large media company totaling approximately $1 million in bookings in the month of May. The contracts are for various influencer marketing initiatives and represent an expansion of an existing customer relationship.

“We continue to see indicators that fuel our optimism about a bookings rebound in the back half of this year,” said Ted Murphy, IZEA Chairman and CEO. “Our new opportunity pipeline in May is the most robust it has been since the start of 2023. We are also seeing improvements in close rates as our customers gain clarity over their own organizational structure and budgets.”

In April, IZEA secured multiple contracts to provide managed influencer marketing services for a federal government agency, totaling mid-six figures for the initiatives.

Bookings are a measure of all sales orders minus any known or expected cancellations or refunds with respect to such sales orders or refunds. Management uses bookings to inform expectations of total sales activity. Bookings are not always an indicator of revenue for the quarter and could be subject to future adjustments. Revenues from Managed Services bookings are typically recognized over a nine-month period on average.
