We’re proud to announce an exciting new feature in V4 PayPerPost that just went live today.  We’ve added a lead generator tool to the advertiser side of the application.  I’m confident that our bloggers will be enthusiastic about these changes too.

This new feature allows our advertisers to take a poll and ask the bloggers that qualify for their opportunity if they are interested in making a post.  When bloggers respond to this poll, they will float to the top of the list, and will be denoted with a ticket icon.  Now instead of taking a shot in the dark and waiting 3 days for a response, advertisers can target the blogs that are likely to participate in the campaign.  How cool is that?  This is going to help opportunities fill up faster than ever.  It’s also going to give the active and willing bloggers a chance to be seen and to stand out from the crowd.

Here’s how it works:

Advertisers, after you create your opp, make sure to proof read it.  Once you have everything exactly how you want it, you will have the option to generate leads by pressing the “generate leads” button at the top of your matches list.  I must emphasize that the opp can not be edited after you do this, so please double check your work.  You’ll have to have made a deposit into the system first before you will be able to see this button.

Once you’re ready, you can press the button.  What this will do is send out a mass email to all the bloggers in your matches list.  This is not real time, so you should expect to wait about a day before you see the responses start to come in.  The bloggers will see an email similar to this that allows them to respond via the “sign me up” link.

Simple.  Once the bloggers respond, you’ll see them denoted with a ticket icon on your matches list.  They will be shown at the top of the list by default.

If you run into any issues, make sure to click on the little “Feedback” tab on the right hand side of the screen within your account.  We’ll be here to help.  We’d also love to hear your thoughts about the system. Your feedback is always welcome, and helps us improve the site for everyone.
