Most folks are loyal to a brand, company, or business because they have some sort of connection. Chances are, customer service plays a part (customer service is the cornerstone for me). Excellent customer service is really about building relationships, right? And what brand, company, or business doesn’t want a relationship with their customers?

Unfortunately, it seems customer service is frequently an afterthought these days…or no thought at all. So I was impressed when I received the following in the mail earlier this week:
Props to Katie and SXSW for understanding that the relationships they have with their sponsors & exhibitors could make-or-break repeat business. The effort on their part was minimal (and FREE!), and the impact is long term.
