We got together with some of our Chicago-area brand and agency clients to chat about influencer marketing and bake some pies along the way.

We love connecting with our partners in engaging ways. For this event, we hosted a private pie-baking class at Bettie’s, a 50s diner-themed baking school owned by Kristin Hoffman, who goes by Baker Bettie on YouTube.

“We were so excited to get back with our partners again in person and in such a fun and interactive way,” said Sam Hissett, IZEA Senior Client Partner, Shopper Marketing. “Good conversation flows easily over beverages and baking. We were able to learn a lot about achieving the perfect, flaky pie and a little about how our partners are approaching influencer marketing in their media mix, too.”

Kristin taught us how to bake a mini apple pie with a lattice crust in her retro-themed cooking class space decorated with vintage and antique finds.

We enjoyed connecting with our clients face to face and talking about strategy, shopper marketing campaigns and the influencer space overall.
