YuKwon Toney
YuKwon is a student at FAMU. He gained popularity on social media after he began frequently posting comedic content on TikTok and Instagram. His videos are focused on demonstrating real-life scenarios in a humorous light, including life as a student at his HBCU. YuKwon, who also goes by Kwon, is the King of Orange and Green for the 2022-2023 school year and a campus ambassador for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and he was previously given the title of Mr. 1913.
Shaqir OโNeal
Shaqir is a student and basketball athlete at Texas Southern University, an HBCU located in Houston. He has 3.5M TikTok followers and 896K Instagram followers. Heโs done brand deals with boohooMANโs clothing and Silk Milk, and posts basketball and lifestyle content. His father, famous basketball legend Shaquille OโNeal, also makes a couple appearances on his social media pages.
Jazmon
Jazmon is a journalism student and sports reporter at Southern University. Her work ethic canโt be denied. Sheโs worked with her local news network, conducts sideline interviews for Southern University sports teams and got the opportunity to be a sideline reporter for the Atlanta Hawks.
Randolph Ross Jr.
Randolph is a track-and-field athlete at NCAT. Heโs coached by his dad, who was an Olympian in the 110-meter hurdles. Most of his content shows him competing and displays the moment that Sept. 7 became Randolph Ross Day in Garner, North Carolina.
Imoni
Imoni, who also goes by Mon Mon, is a student at AAMU who creates content about everyday life, including life as an HBCU student. Her Instagram also displays her incredible fashion sense and gives a peek at how Mon Mon shows up on campus.
Aaliyah Crystal
Aaliyah, also known as Liyah, is a dental student at Meharry Medical College, one of two of the only HBCU dental schools in the U.S. Her content showcases her dental school journey, along with other lifestyle elements. She also enjoys working out, cooking, and sharing hair tutorials for different styles.
Drew
Drew feels as though the importance of self-love and self-care is not discussed enough, and she wants to contribute to changing that. Her TikTok features content about real-life topics, including life at Hampton University campus, an HBCU. Her Instagram mainly displays her love for travel and fashion, and even though thereโs not much on her YouTube channel, she documented her recent move into her campus dorm.
Kenzie
Dancer, artist and Spelman College student Kenzie adores her school and frequently shows it. Her content displays her art skills, which she often uses to bring her clothing designs to life. She creates Spleman-themed designs and other custom pieces. She also posts videos showcasing different parts of the campus and relatable content about college and life in general. Kamerin
Kamerin is a NCAT student who posts content about lifestyle, beauty and fashion. Sheโs on the pre-med track and founded A World of STEM, a non-profit organization that promotes mental health awareness and professional development for minority students interested in STEM careers.
Tyrone McNair Jr.
Tyrone is a student at WSSU. Heโs heavily involved in student activities on campus. He is the Student Government Association president and a part of the historically African American fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha.
KyโWuan Dukes
Football player KyโWuan attends John C. Smith University. Besides wowing the campus with his impressive wide receiver skills, he is the first NIL HBCU athlete. NIL allows him to get paid for brand deals, and he has several. He also has merchandise and his own line of cologne.
Skylar Warren
Skylar attends FAMU and was also voted Miss Junior by her peers. Sheโs also an author, speaker, pageant coach, graphic designer, and hairstylist. In addition to her relatable posts about HBCU life, she frequently shares fashion content and is an HBCU ambassador. She loves socializing and connecting with her peers so she started a FAMU Tristate social club.
Angel Richardson
Angel is a student athlete at Fayetteville State University, where sheโs the captain of the cheer team. In addition to her school activities, she also runs an accessories business.
Tatianna
Tatianna is a student at Miles College. She was crowned as the first Miss Cheer Phi Cheer of Miles College and is a part of the historically African American sorority Delta Sigma Theta. Her content focuses on her daily and Greek life on campus.
