Content marketing conferences take place around the world and throughout the year. Here are a few of the top content marketing events still to come in 2017, as well as a look ahead at some scheduled for 2018. Mark your calendars now.

AMA Annual Conference

AMA Conference Content Marketing Events

Scheduled for Sept. 11 to Sept. 13, the AMA Annual Conference will take place at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Keynote speakers at this content marketing event include Nancy Ponzoff, the VP of marketing for Starbucks, and Andrew Keller, the global creative director for Facebook Creative Shop.

A highlight of previous content marketing events is the three-hour digital marketing bootcamp, led by Brad Batesole of LinkedIn. If you participate in the bootcamp, you’ll be one step closer to becoming an AMA professional certified marketer® in digital marketing.

Content Marketing World

Content Marketing World

Scheduled for Sept. 5 to Sept. 8, Content Marketing World describes itself as the largest content marketing event. It will take place at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, in Ohio.

The keynote at this year’s content marketing events speakers include YouTuber and influencer Casey Neistat, actor and creator Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Linda Boff, the CMO at GE. There will be more than 120 workshops and sessions covering all aspects of content marketing. Although Content Marketing World is great for learning more about the field, it’s best known for its great networking opportunities. More than 3,600 marketers from around the world are expected to attend this year.

B2B Marketing Forum

B2B Marketing Forum

If you’re a B2B marketer, you need to check out B2B Marketing Forum, scheduled for Oct. 3 to Oct. 6 in Boston. The conference is put together by MarketingProfs and is designed with the needs of B2B marketers in mind.

Keynote speakers at the event include Ann Handley, the chief content officer of MarketingProfs, Alison Levine, the team captain of the first American women’s Everest expedition and author of “On the Edge: Leadership Lessons From Everest and Other Extreme Environments,” and Derreck Kayongo, CEO of the Center for Civil and Human Rights and founder of Global Soap Project.

The first day of the conference will feature several intensive, all-day workshops. The next few days will include keynote addresses in the morning and sessions throughout the day.

Marketing Forum USA

Marketing Forum

Marketing Forum USA has two upcoming conferences. The first takes place Oct. 15 to Oct. 17 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The second is scheduled for June 3 to June 5, 2018, in Ponte Vedra, Florida.

The October conference will be held at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale. Arun Chaudhary gives the keynote address, who was the digital storyteller and official White House videographer for President Barack Obama, and the creative director for Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign.

A highlight of Marketing Forum is that it has small sessions and is only open to marketing professionals. The size of the sessions and the limited audience means that attendees really get the most possible from their conference experiences.

LavaCon Conference

LavaCon Conference

The LavaCon Content Strategy Conference is Nov. 5 to Nov. 8 in Portland, Oregon. And, the theme of the conference is “Spanning Silos, Building Bridges.”

The goal of the conference is to give content professionals a chance to collaborate and move the field forward, and to learn and share content engineering best practices. The November conference will offer more than 80 sessions and include free pre- and post-conference workshops.

Looking forward to next year’s content marketing events, the 2018 Content Marketing Conference is May 2 to May 4 at the Boston Westin Waterfront. However, Keynote speakers for 2018 aren’t announced yet. But, speakers at the 2017 conference included Matthew Barby from Hubspot, Adam Grossman from the Boston Red Sox, and Larry Kim, the founder of WordStream. The goal of the conference is to shine a light on the latest technology and tactics to help marketers improve their content marketing.

Set for October 24 -25th, 2017 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, this installment of The Digital Summit series features more than 40 sessions presented by industry experts from Facebook, Uber, and more covering topics in strategy, mobile, video, social media, email, content marketing, UX design, and SEO.
