What originally attracted you to the IZEA/SocialSpark community and how did you find out about it?
I found out about IZEA years ago when I first started blogging. I love that the company works with bloggers of all sizes.

Describe your blog in 140 characters or less…
Travel, Food and life thrown together in one place. We share recipes, travel tips and more

What inspires you to blog?
I love to blog and share our passion for travel, food and life. The blog is an outlet to share amazing destinations, great recipes and real life. I want it to be a place that readers are inspired to try a new recipe or hop on a place and visit somewhere new.

Do you ever get stumped for what to write? How do you overcome this?
I take a day or 2 break from writing and just play in the kitchen. I definitely get stumped and have to walk away for a bit to get recharged.

If you were President for a day what would be your first order of business?
Oh my! There are so many things I would work on. Mainly I would work on giving the people a say and letting them express their need

What do you love about IZEA/SocialSpark?
I love that IZEA offers a wide variety of campaigns that are the perfect fit for our blog. The coordinators are fantastic and fun to interact with. The company pays quickly and smoothly and I have never had any issues in 5 years.

What has been your favorite SocialSpark campaign?
There are so many great SocialSpark campaigns. I really like the campaigns that I can give my readers an amazing recipe or destination to visit.

How do you actively stay engaged with your audience?
I am a social media freak. I love engaging with our audience on multiple platforms. It is so much fun to hear what they have to say and incorporate their ideas into a story.

What tips can you give other bloggers that can help set them apart and stand out?
Be you! Don’t feel like you have to be a carbon copy of another blogger. Find your voice and use it.

Complete this thought: If I could, I would…
If I could, I would travel the world with my Husband visiting new places and sharing the experience with our readers.
