Every quarter, we set aside our busy schedules and spend one Friday reviewing and celebrating our accomplishments with an all-company meeting and team-bonding event. We call this day IZEA Loco.
For Q2 Loco, we kicked-off the day with a meeting brimming with exciting updates and successful campaign case studies. After the meeting ended, everyone finished up their work for the day and headed out to one of our favorite Loco locations: Wekiva Island. We love everything about Wekiva Island – the atmosphere, the people and, of course, the bar!

We rented out two cabanas right on the water, allowing us to lounge around and indulge in some delicious grilled goods – thanks to our grill masters Dan, Dustin and Ted. While everyone was gathered in the cabanas, Ted announced that our resident Aussie Lynda was the RockStar of the Quarter. Thank you for all of your hard work, Lynda!
After eating, some IZEAns took to the water with canoes, while others got competitive in a fierce volleyball game.
The next day, we partied pirate-style at Ted’s house. Everyone had a jolly-good time and there were boat-rides, delicious drinks and live music galore! Argghhhh!
