What originally attracted you to the IZEA/SocialSpark community and how did you find out about it?
When I realized that Izea was partnering with reputable bloggers like Tori Spelling, I knew it was legit and just had to try it.

Best Friends For Frosting is a lifestyle website that serves as a daily inspiration guide for stylish and creative living.
What inspires you to blog?
Trends, patterns, colors, sprinkles, and confetti are all very exciting to me. I love every single aspect of blogging whether it is being on location for a shoot, writing, PR, making a video, brainstorming, or networking. It never gets stale.
Do you ever get stumped for what to write? How do you overcome this?
All the time. Sometimes distracting myself with a different project or going for a walk and coming back with a fresh mind makes all the difference in the world.
What do you love about IZEA/SocialSpark?
I love having direct representatives to work with. They take a personal approach to work with publishers, which makes all the difference in the world. IZEA really gets my brand aesthetic, and their hip savvy team is a huge plus.
What has been your favorite SocialSpark campaign?
All of them. Welp, if I really have to pick… I loved having the opportunity to get in front of the video camera for a couple campaigns including Slimfast and Likefolio. The marketing strategy made it sassy, chic ,and tons of fun to our readers. That made a huge difference.
How do you actively stay engaged with your audience?
Social media is the best thing since sliced bread. Readers are more likely to see your posts via social media versus directly from your blog. Instagram and Pinterest are my favorites!
What tips can you give other bloggers that can help set them apart and stand out?
Blog from a place of passion, and the rest will shine right through. I am a huge fan of blending passion and personality. There is only one version of you, and no person can be replicated. You will always be your own best asset. My favorite quote is “For creative success, you must bring your whole-self to the table.”
