With a million and one things happening each winter, it’s easy to lose sight of all the great things every holiday season brings: a chance to reconnect with those closest to us and volunteering our time to help those who may not be as fortunate.
As our IZEAns begin the long-awaited countdown to our own holiday break, we partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank and Edgewood Children’s Ranch to give back in the months of November and December. Check out our #IZEACares adventures below!
- Serves six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia
- Member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that help feed people across the country

Multiple IZEAns signed up for on-site food sorting shifts split between two work days
Combined, our IZEAns sorted 17,732 lbs of food, creating 14,600 meals in just under eight hours!

- Residential program for at-risk boys and girls ages 6 – 17 years old
- The Ranch provides Angel Tree Gift Tags to the Winter Park Village Publix, giving customers the chance to pick a child’s gift list and provide an item or two as a present

“Adopted” four lists – two boys and two girls – from the Publix Tree
IZEAns from all office locations (HQ in Winter Park and remote offices across the country and Canada) bought and delivered a combined 84 gifts in two weeks, averaging 21 presents per child
