Welcome to our Champion the Creators interview series with influencers of all niches to highlight their journeys, share their insights and inspire! Today we are talking all about influencing with Raymin, a mom and lifestyle influencer.

Raymin, also known by her social media handles @SimplyPetiteRay on Instagram and Pinterest, and @daintymomla on TikTok, is a dynamic content creator who has turned her passion for sharing into a full-time career. Hailing from Sacramento, California, Raymin’s niche focuses on inspiring and supporting moms through relatable content centered around motherhood, fashion trends, home ideas, and quick mom hacks.

Collab with Raymin

Raymin’s journey into content creation began during the COVID-19 lockdown. With time on her hands and the desire to stay mentally engaged, she started sharing her life on Instagram as a hobby. What started as a pastime quickly gained traction, with brands offering her free products to promote.

“Most of my audience is moms, so my content is about mom life, fashion styles and trends, and home ideas. I also try to share mom hacks and easy recipes to make for moms’ holiday treats. And my primary goal is really to share content that can help busy moms make life easy.”

As her audience and influence grew, she realized the potential of content creation as a viable career path. In 2023, she decided to take the leap and transition into full-time content creation, while continuing to juggle a remote sales job.

A meticulous planner, Raymin schedules her content a week in advance, often creating high-quality posts about fashion, home, or brand partnerships. She attributes her success to consistency, authenticity, and producing engaging, high-quality content that resonates with her audience of moms.

“When I choose brands, I make sure that the brand values align with my niche and also with my audience. And also when I work with them, I have to make sure I have clear communication with the brand.”

She adds that she also tries to be authentic to maintain the trust her audience has in her.

Despite her busy schedule, managing content creation, motherhood, and a part-time job, Raymin remains passionate and dedicated. Her top advice for aspiring creators? “Find your niche, be authentic, and stay consistent.”

“My advice for those who want to be a content creator is you have to find your niche. So you need to focus on what you’re really truly passionate about, what you want to share. … And then have to be yourself. Just be authentic as well as be consistent.”

Looking forward, Raymin hopes to continue growing her platform, collaborating with more brands, and expanding her revenue streams through affiliate marketing and blogging. With three daughters at home, she even involves them in her content (with some lighthearted negotiation for their “pay”).

Raymin’s story is one of passion, determination, and balance, and she’s living proof that moms can do it all—with style.

“My goals for my content creation are centered around just providing value, engaging with my audience and growing as a creator. So I try to inspire my audience, entertain them in some content, and try to educate my audience in their daily lives. I try my best to be true to myself and my values and ensure authenticity and honesty in my content.”
