Happy Thanksgiving week! There is always so much to be thankful for each year. We reached out to a few of our friends to find out what they are grateful for and their holiday traditions.
First up: Teresa Giudice, Melissa Ziegler and Loren Ridinger

So tell us, what are you thankful for?
I’m blessed to be a woman with wonderful parents who are still with me. That, along with the fact that I have a supportive husband and wonderful girls, makes each day special. In addition, I have amazing friends and a career that allows me to interact with incredible fans. Each time I look at my life, I find little to complain about.
Do you have any family traditions? What about favorite foods? Is there anything special you know how to make? Tell us!
Cooking is my passion and my style is traditional. So, I tend not to vary far from the classics for the holidays. I love the look of a golden brown bird sitting in the center of the table (even though I still feel a bit sad after the RHONJ visit to the Turkey Farm). How tragic to be born yummy.
Ok, most important question- there are 3 NFL games this year: Texans v Lions, Redskins v Cowboys and Patriots v Jets. Who’s your money on?
I have fans from all over. I am so thankful for each and every one of them. So, their team is my team! LOL. I love reading their tweets on game day and get just as excited about the big games as they do!

So tell us, what are you thankful for?
I am thankful for the most amazing man in the entire world, the sweetest and kindest kids, the best friends and family and of course Dance Moms!!!

- Maddie and Mackenzie love crafts. They make special name cards for everyone for each holiday. They take that job very seriously!!!
- My favorite holiday food is mashed potatoes with corn mixed in with it and mashed sweet potatoes. I don’t like turkey, but my girls love it.
- I am not the best cook, but love to bake. I make a mean apple pie and love making new cookie recipes. We love making cupcakes for every holiday and love to decorate them.
What is your earliest Thanksgiving memory? What’s your typical Thanksgiving routine?
I was a vegetarian until I was in my 30’s so my Mom always made me special food. Being Italian, Mom always made lasagna and pasta for all the holidays, mine of had cheese, no meat.

Texas, Redskins, Patriots

Thanksgiving celebrates the historic meeting between the Mayflower survivors and local natives. Have you ever been to Plymouth Rock?
No I haven’t, but my husband has told me all about it 🙂
So tell us, what are you thankful for?
I have the greatest family and friends in the world and they mean everything to me. I am so grateful for them. I am especially grateful for my health this year as I survived having brain surgery and I am doing better than ever after an aneurysm.

Our family tradition is always coming together wherever I am. I love to be in charge of the holidays and I work really hard to make everything extra special for everyone. We play lots of games and we always rent the movie theater and take everyone out to the movies. This year it will be The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. We always have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but I always throw in an Italian twist with some pasta stations. I love everyone to go home happy and full. As far as cooking, well, that’s not my speciality. Last time I cooked Thanksgiving dinner was 18 years ago, and I left the turkey in the oven for 3 weeks, Yikes… It took us weeks to find out what the smell was, lol.. that’s another story. So it is better for me to leave it up to the chef and focus on the details.
What is your earliest Thanksgiving memory? What’s your typical Thanksgiving routine?
My earliest memory of Thanksgiving was when I was 4 yrs old, and of course my mom was alive. She was taking care of everyone as I try to do now, except she cooked everything herself. She was amazing.

Mark Sanchez is a very good friend of mine and I hate betting against friends, but it’s hard to go up against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The Texans are having a great season and since I hate losing, I have to put money on them even though Matthew Stafford is a great quarterback. Love Tony Romo, great friend of mine and regardless of how the Cowboys are doing this year, I am always rooting for him. Great guy.
