Toronto, ON (March 14, 2016) – IZEA, Inc. (NASDAQ: IZEA), operators of IZEAx, the premier online marketplace connecting brands and publishers with influential content creators, has formed a wholly owned subsidiary in Canada, named IZEA Canada, Inc. The newly formed organization will initially focus on the Toronto market.

The Toronto-based team is led by Tiffany Heimpel, Managing Director of IZEA Canada. Heimpel has an extensive background in advertising, corporate brand marketing and account management. In addition, she is recognized as a seasoned content creator in the Canadian blogger space, appearing frequently on national television programs such as Marilyn Denis, CTV, CP24 and The Morning Show.

In August 2015, IZEA began sales operations in Canada. Since then, IZEA has executed campaigns for some of the country’s largest brands including Rogers, Weber, KFC, BMO, HBC and Loblaws. The IZEA Canada office will be staffed with sales and support employees, including bilingual team members to serve the multilingual needs of Canadian marketers.
