Let’s see here…5 years ago would make me 19. And I’m young again! That was easy. The funny thing about it is not THAT much has changed during that time. I was a wee freshman at the University of Florida, but I was still living with Mike (my roommate/cousin/now he works with me). Did he ever tell you about the time he tried to burn down our condo in Gainesville? If not, ask him about it. Any ways, those were pretty fun times. Taking late classes and sleeping in everyday was the best. And of course, all the perks that went along with living in a college town.

But, not to break from the good ol’ tradition, I’ll take you back to my younger days. Taking a look at this picture brings back some memories. For one, how I probably had the coooolest paint job a room has ever had. And two, why in the world did I have a “Wildlife Reservation” thing on my wall? It’s not that I don’t like the Wildlife, but I don’t remember really being into reserving it. I mean, I had a BB-gun since the age of 5, so…I’ll have to ask about that. Lastly, I had some pretty cool clothes (long-sleeve shirt + baggies…can’t beat that).

This next picture is me in skiing in Utah. Don’t be fooled, I’m not a pro or anything. Actually, that was my first ski trip but I pick up stuff pretty quickly. This particular mountain had night skiing which was pretty neat. One night I managed to take a hard turn, similar to this one, and went straight off the side of the slope. That was fun. My brother was in front of me and had absolutely no idea where I had gone. But lesson learned, it’s not easy to scale up a mountain with all of your ski gear.
I guess I’ll just keep going younger with these pictures. This is me probably in 7th or 8th grade with 2 of my cousins (Lauren and James ). I’ve been going to the same beach and same hotel for a family reunion for at least the past 15 years. We always have a blast. In fact, the next one is in 13 days!! I’ll see you all there!!!
The next picture might be the most embarrassing photo that I’ve ever seen of myself. Do I even need to say a word?
Lastly, here is me at a young age honing my baseball skills. The technique looks pretty good if you ask me.
That should wrap it up. There is your small glance of me from the past. Thanks mom and dad for supplying the photos! See you guys in a few weeks!!

Peace
Luke
