This past Friday afternoon we celebrated IZEA’s first rockstars of 2009 at IZEA Loco. This includes “Postie of the Month,” “Advertiser of the Month,” and IZEA “RockStar of the Month.” All are very worthy of this recognition, and the entire IZEA Team thanks them for their contributions.
Postie of the Month:
Dragon Blogger was selected in large part because of his collective activity in social media. He’s active on the IZEA Message Boards, engages in regular conversation on Twitter, has an extensive friendship base on blog marketing site SocialSpark, and blogs regularly.
Advertiser of the Month:
MEGA Brands is working to ensure that today’s kids don’t wind up as blockheads. Founded as Mega Bloks in 1985, the company makes plastic building blocks and other toys and games. The firm’s brands include Mega Bloks, Magnetix, RoseArt, and The Board Dudes. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide and in the US at Target, Toys “R” Us, and Wal-Mart stores, among others. Mega Brands Inc. distributes a range of toys, puzzles, and craft-based products worldwide but enjoys greatest success in North America, where Mega Bloks is one of the top 10 toy brands[2].
RockStar of the Month:
Luis Abreu is our team-member of the month . Luis is a part of our hard-working Solution Sales Team, and focuses on working with clients through the PayPerPost platform. He’s also a very funny guy, seems to know the words to an awful lot of songs from the ’09’s, and judging by the photo below already drunk with power. Keep up the good work, Luis!
The IZEA Team was also treated to a few special presentations by the folks in our Development group, giving insight to some of the updates that have been made in the SocialSpark and PayPerPost systems. Thanks, Dev!
