One of the things we know about blog marketing is that people have a much higher propensity to click on content that is within the stream of a post. A few weeks ago we pushed a release of SocialSpark that included a special new ad unit designed to take advantage of this. The new unit is called a Blog Photo and it measures 500 x 375. This allows advertisers to provide large product photos or ads that look natural within the content of a blog post.
Below is an example we are using for Sponsored Tweets, our new Twitter Advertising platform.
If you are an advertiser you should consider including these units in your CPC campaign. If you are a blogger you should look for them when writing your posts. If your blog isn’t 500 pixels wide you can always manually re-size the image.
Here are some caulations to keep the image in proportion : 450 x 337 or 400×300
