Blog America Tour, Part 1:
Ted, Ashley and camera-guy Travis leave the Orlando office for the first ever “Blog America Tour.”

(if videos aren’t showing up click here)

On this leg of the trip we stopped in Tampa and Atlanta.  In Tampa we met up with Colleen and her Nephew Matthew.  Colleen started the canned food drive out with her 100 can donation.  For that she got her hands on a 5th generation iRobot Roomba.  After leaving Tampa, we tried to drive straight through to Atlanta but just couldn’t do it.  So we stopped just south of Atlanta at a Travelodge and caught some zzzz’s.

In Atlanta we had three stops.  First stop we met Alli and her son Fuller.  Alli topped Colleen’s can donation with over 100!  When Fuller stopped sneezing all over the place we grabbed some grub at Ted’s Montana Grill.  In the video check out Ted eating a buffalo burger with bacon and a fried egg.  Three animal, one bite.  I had one too, it was awesome!  They need to open one of those down here in O-town.  After meeting Alli and Fuller, the Durango was overflowing with cans so we swung by the Atlanta Community Food Bank to drop them off.  The folks there were super nice and helpful.  After dropping the cans off, we headed to The Varsity, where we met Richard, Jason and Jason’s daughter Skylar.  Unfortunately, we were not allowed to bring the camera into the restaurant, but after we ate, we all went outside and the camera started to roll.  Richard won the Roomba for his can donation and everyone received the new Postie Packs.  Skylar was a hoot, she had everybody laughing.  She even sang for us, which didn’t make the episode, but it was great.  I posted the video of her singing below after the episode.
