We’ve got some changes rolling out today.  Customer Love will be tweeting to let you all know when it is happening.  Here’s the scoop on what it will entail:

The system has had a quirky error for some time in the way that it assigns links out to bloggers as they take reservations.  The problem would manifest by allowing more bloggers to obtain a reservation than should have been allowed.  The main symptom of this problem would be noticed when an advertiser tried to edit their links.  A validation error would prevent any editing saying “Maximum postings must be at least 14”.  This problem will not happen on any future opportunities that are created after the fix is released.

We’ve made it even easier for advertisers to get started in the system by providing a link for them to add credit cards right from the page where they create opportunities.  The button for adding funds will now open a new tab and display the page where you can add your credit card.  Once you have entered the card, you can close the tab and get back to creating your opportunity.

This button will now open a new tab with this page:
In an effort to provide some extra privacy for our advertisers, bloggers must now reserve an opportunity before they may view the required link.  The opportunity detail page will now show the message “Requires a link.  You will be shown this link when you reserve this opportunity.”

And lastly we’ve modified the way that we pull PR scores.

As always if you run into any problems as a result of these changes, make sure to submit a ticket to customer love and include your account information so we can look into it.
