If you’ve visited BloggersChoiceAwards.com today you’ve noticed there have been some changes. That’s because today officially kicks-off the two-week countdown to voting closing for 2008. Yes…that means we’ll have new winners in each of the 36 categories on October 16th!
When you visit the site you’ll see that the top three blogs in each category have their votes hidden. They will remain this way through October 15th, when voting officially closes. Hiding the votes for these blogs generates a level of excitement and anticipation among users, and also makes the unveiling of the winners more of a surprise. Here’s what you’ll find:
If you’re one of the top three blogs in any of the categories, now’s your chance to really get those last-minute votes in! Make sure your readers know your site has been nominated by posting a brag badge in an obvious place of your blog. You can then link the badge directly to the voting page on the BCA website, making it simple for your readers to cast a vote. If you don’t have a badge you can pick one up here.
