About two weeks ago I mentioned that we were going to implement some updates to ITK. We rolled those fixes out last week and have been monitoring them for the past few days. Everything looks like it’s holding up, and hopefully you are seeing speed increases in the IZEARanks ITK.
Here’s what we did:
- Removed the initial load of ITK out of IZEARanks and into it’s own engine. This way, when IZEARanks hits a slow down, it does not affect load times on your blog like it did in the past.
- Analytics engine has been re-factored and it’s server set up changed a bit. Hopefully, this will result in more responsiveness when collecting analytical data for your blog.
- The “Resend” alert should no long be a problem.
- ITK in the Safari web browser was causing the browser history to go all sideways. This issue has been fixed.
Hopefully, you will find all these updates to result in a faster ITK. Please let us know if you are still experiencing unusually long wait times for ITK functionality and we will look into it.
