Thursday was Tara’s birthday. For the past 2 years she has been asking me for a puppy and this year I finally broke. It was a big decision for me, I am not sure that I have the time to take care of another life. I travel a lot and I am rarely home. Tara travels a bit too but not nearly with the same level of activity as I do. Whenever I am gone and she is home she reminds me how nice it would be to have a dog at home with her.
On Thursday I left work a little early and drove to the puppy store. I played with the puppy a bit, then walked out and said to myself "what am I doing!?!?!". I got in my truck and sat for a bit, got back out and went back in. I repeated this twice before I finally bit the bullet. I think the people in the store were laughing at me. I knew how much she wanted a puppy and how happy it would make it her. I had to take myself and my concerns out of the equation.
The puppy sat on my lap as I drove to see Tara at her work and surprise her. This picture is from that trip home. While the dog was running all over the place going crazy at the store she didn’t even move then entire way home. All she did was cuddle up against me. I knew I made the right choice.

Her name as Bonzo. You’ll be seeing more of her around the PPP Office.
