This past week IZEA had the great opportunity of giving some of our time to our local community by way of volunteering at a Central Florida Ronald McDonald House charity (there are two in the area). If you’re not familiar with this great organization I urge you to click here and learn more.
Basically, the charity looks for local volunteers to help prepare and serve dinners to the families being hosted in the facilities. The IZEA Team pitched in and made some amazing meals, side dishes and deserts, and then after work on Friday night a handfull of us took everything to the House and prepped it for the families. Needless to say it was a very rewarding experience.
If you have a Ronald McDonald House in your town, why not get volunteer with some of your co-workers or family members sometime?
