PayPerPost submits video to Gmail contest!

A couple weeks ago, Trevor was talking about the Gmail video contest.  He wanted us to get involved and submit something.  [Background info: Gmail’s contest involves people submitting videos of how a piece of GMail gets from the sender to its intended destination.]  You have to submit a video and it has to be 10 seconds.  Basically, you film an ‘Mvelope’ going from the left of the screen, to the right.  They’re placing their favorite bits together and will feature them at the end of the contest.

Together, we thought it’d be great to do a parody of the N64 kid, but instead of getting a Nintendo, he gets Gmail- hilarity would ensue.  Google will put music over the videos, so the whole yelling bit didn’t pan out.  The idea was good, but it didn’t really film well- so time for take two!

How about a little BennyHill-type video.  Basically, somebody gets the Mvelope, and is chased by people.  Scott from Rockstartup sped up the film so it looks ‘wacky.’

Anyway, we filmed after work yesterday and it was a blast!  Big thanks to Trevor, Scott, Travis, Priscilla, Dray, and new-guy Dan!  Oh, and to the other Scott for putting it all together.  Below is our submission, a masterpiece!  Sorry guys, Scott and Dan don’t have Rockstartup links, yet!

Here’s a link to our video!
