Tis the season for giving- so give we did.  PayPerPost attended the second annual  Touch-a-Truck charity event, donations benefitting the Ronald McDonald House.  There were all kinds of trucks on the lot, from military vehicles and seasonal city busses to massive tow trucks, sanitation vehicles, tractors and firetrucks.

There were tons of kids, clamoring to jump into the front seat and blast the airhorn.  Some of them, ok all of them, were clearly terrified by Ted for some reason.  It must be the goofy grin and resounding ‘HEY THERE!’ that scared them.  Honestly, Ted and I went to check out the street cleaning truck and a kid was running right for us, she took one look at Ted and U-turned in 2.3 seconds.

Even we got to touch some trucks!  Alan, our cameraman, was lucky enough to be lifted hundreds of feet into the air on the firetruck’s ladder.  Britt, Karen and I got to sit on an Army cargo truck- I got to wear a helmet!

All in all, it was a great event for an even greater cause and we were ecstatic to be there.  Big thanks to Britt for putting this together and for Ted, Karen, Pete, Sarah and Ashley for helping out.  High Fives!
