I am a big fan of change. Every once and awhile you need to switch it up to keep things fresh and progressing forward. This morning Britt and Dan walked into the office radiating an aura of change. Britt dyed her hair brown this weekend, dropping her blonde hair of the last 10 years. Dan went even more radical, opting for a upbeat mohawk. I say good for them… way to switch up it.

How about you? Are you ready for a little change?

Maybe it’s something small like changing your hairstyle or maybe it’s something big like quiting your day job and blogging full time.

Eight years ago my mother bought me a book called Who Moved My Cheese. She bought it for me after I told her I was going to sell out of my other company, start a new company and move to Orlando. The book is a quick, easy read but the message is powerful and still resonates with me today. Several years later at MindComet we decided to make posters to hang around the office that featured our team members. We each picked a word that we felt best represented what we create, I picked change.

Things change. They have always changed and will always change. You can either fight change or embrace change. I choose to be an agent of change, I use change to my advantage.

In one year we have had 4 major releases of PayPerPost.com, now we are starting from square one with Argus. Why so much change? Change is the only way we become better.

This may be a little deep for a post that started off talking about new hair styles, but I have found that the smallest changes can start a chain reaction that can ultimately change your life.

I challenge you to change something today. Go to a new restaurant for lunch. Take a different path home from work. Shave your head, cover yourself in fluff and run down the street (ok, that might be a change in the wrong direction). Do something today you don’t normally do. You will thank yourself.

Have a great Monday.
