New functionality allows marketers to search influencer content based on location.

ORLANDO, FL (April 25, 2019) – IZEA Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: IZEA), operator of IZEAx®, the premier online marketplace connecting brands and publishers with influential content creators, today announced the launch of new location-based capabilities for the IZEAx VizSearch discovery tool. The enhancement comes just days after the addition of YouTube and Pinterest support to VizSearch, announced during the launch IZEAx 3.0 Unity Suite. To watch a replay of the launch please visit izea.com/unity.

The goal of VizSearch is to provide marketers with a content-forward discovery tool that enables them to easily identify influencers and other content creators that might be a match for a given campaign. The new feature allows marketers to add a location parameter to a search in VizSearch. If a creator has chosen to share the location of the photo or video they posted that information is indexed in Vortex and made available in VizSearch.

For example, a marketer could search for images taken at a certain hotel, retailer, or restaurant chain. That information could be used to identify those influencers who are already a fan of that particular brand, or have an affinity for a given location. The query can also be combined with keywords, allowing marketers to further narrow a search. For example, a marketer could search for drone photos taken in Hawaii.

“The momentum of innovation and pace from prototype to product release is incredibly strong on the foundation of IZEAx 3.0,” Ted Murphy, Founder and CEO of IZEA. “Our new Gemstone architecture allows us to simultaneously iterate on multiple parts of the IZEAx platform independently. We are actively deploying daily updates to the platform, including enhancements that greatly increase the utility of our platform to marketers.”

VizSearch with location support is available today for all licensees of IZEAx. To schedule a demonstration, visit https://izea.com.
