ORLANDO, FL (April 23, 2018) – IZEA Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: IZEA), operator of IZEAx®, the premier online marketplace connecting brands and publishers with influential content creators, has announced the addition of Twitch connections to IZEAx 3.0. Influencers can now add their Twitch handles to IZEAx. While many gamers publish on YouTube, hardcore gamers make their home on Twitch. Brands want to start activating sponsorships on Twitch, and this new connection type will help make that possible.”

In 2018, 66% of the U.S. population over age 12 were gamers, according to Nielsen. A recent study conducted by IZEA revealed that 19.6% of U.S. millennials who are active in social media indicated that they made a game, movie or entertainment purchase after seeing a product promoted by an online influencer.

In addition to Twitch connections, IZEA announced the intention to launch IZEA Gigs later this year. Gigs will provide an online marketplace that will allow creators of all types to package and sell an array of creative services to agencies and brands through the IZEAx platform.

According to 2017 Freelancing in America Survey, 50.9% of the U.S. Population will be freelancing by the year 2027. IZEA Gigs aims to provide additional monetization opportunities to freelance creators while lowering the costs of creatives services for marketers. IZEA intends to launch IZEA Gigs later this year.
