What’s up peeps! I know you’re all buzzing and excited about Sponsored Tweets rolling out yesterday, but we’re still managing to get some work in on SocialSpark! Here’s the latest round-up of bug fixes rolling out in the next half hour or so:

Feature

  • We’ve continued to take feedback regarding our click scoring in SocialSpark. This week’s release contains a change that should make for more accurate scoring, particularly with respect to clicks coming from social media sites like Facebook. If you’re one of those who have had negative experiences with Facebook CPC links in the past, now is a great time to try them again.

Bug Fixes

  • When bloggers went to cash out, if they entered a “$” (dollar sign) in the amount field, they would receive a “success” message although no money would move. There are UI and back-end fixes in place now to prevent this.
  • Previously, after an Opp had ended or was yanked by an advertiser, bloggers who had unexpired reservations or resubmittable posts on the Opp could not get back to the profile to (re)submit their post. Now, they can.
  • An error was occurring on the advertiser view of invalid CPC clicks when a referrer URL was blank. This has been resolved.
  • On the blog summaries (RSS) page, an error occurred when an entry URL was blank.
  • There was previously an error on the Blog Demographics page if IZEARanks returned malformed (misbehaving) XML.
  • Around 3 o’clock in the morning (EST) the SocialSpark marketplace was unavailable for some. Perhaps the server thought it was past your bedtime? Anyway, that error is fixed.
