With IZEAns scattered around the US and Canada, we all celebrate fall a little differently (aside from Pumpkin Spice Lattes). We tapped four IZEA offices to show you what fall is like from sweatier weather to sweater weather!

IZEA HQ – Winter Park, FL

IZEAns in HQ might not have temps below the mid-80s, but we still know how to celebrate fall! Every major local theme park has a spooky event.

From not-so-scary to downright spooky:

Disney hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

SeaWorld hosts their Halloween Spooktacular

Busch Garden’s Howl-O-Scream

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights – scaring the daylights out of visitors for 26 years!

Floridians can also get lost in the Zellwood Corn Maze or get creeped out in the Petrified Forest. And for those of us looking for something not centered around Halloween, there’s also Biketoberfest in Daytona and Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival.

IZEA LA – Los Angeles, CA

The IZEAns in our LA office get to enjoy slightly cooler temps, and way less humidity than the Winter Park office, which is perfect for fall hikes in the newly reopened Runyon Canyon. There’s also the LA BeerFest Halloween Horror Nights. With a night full of scares and endless beers, it’s not to be confused with the one in Orlando: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

IZEAns in LA can also take part in apple picking; a fan favorite fall activity for those in the North East. And with their perfect weather, camping is also a great fall option in locations like Los Padres National Forest, Idyllwild and Big Bear Lake.

There’s also the Mexican holiday, Day Of The Dead which takes place after Halloween.

ChIZEA – Chicago, Illinois

ChIZEAns actually get to experience real sweater weather and leaves changing colors! We can escape the chilly weather by checking out the Chicago International Film Festival and work up our appetite for the 9th Annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest in Holstein Park. When we want a spookier option, there are always Haunted Bus Rides!

IZEA North – Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Our coldest office yet! On October 1st, we celebrated contemporary art at Nuit Blanche. On October 10th we celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving, which celebrates the autumn harvest and the end of the Seven Years’ War in 1763.

And finally, Toronto’s only castle – which is frequently used in movies in television (I see you X-Men!) – has been transformed into a Haunted House called Legends of Horror.

No matter what the season we are always looking for talented new Creators in IZEAx! Interested? Check out izea.com!
