As a blogger, I was thrilled to learn of the IZEA/SocialSpark community because it’s a great resource for connecting brands and bloggers! I’m always looking for new ways to work with brands and share my ideas for their products in an entertaining setting with my readers. So it was a natural fit to become a part of this great community!
Pizzazzerie.com is a go-to resource for entertaining and party ideas as well as recipes for parties. You’ll find inspiration from party features to party food!
I’m inspired daily by everything from a color palette while window shopping to a new food item in the grocery store. I love using products to create gorgeous party designs and the perfect appetizers, cocktails, and desserts to match! I also love reading magazines and getting crafty when I need some inspiration!
If I ever get stumped, I head to my craft room/office to get busy! I’ve collected lots of party styling props over the years so I love to get lost in designing and back to the roots of why I fell in love with styling parties and party food!
If I were President, I would do my best to allot more funds to teacher salaries to maintain and attract quality teachers to improve education in our country.
I love IZEA/SocialSpark because it was an effortless way to connect with brands and I love how I was given creative control to style away which really allowed me to have fun with the projects! Support is there if you need it but it’s easily organized. I had a lot of fun!
My Nautical-Styled Tablescape for World Market. They’re one of my favorite places to shop, especially for entertaining items so I was thrilled to tap into my love for all things nautical! I also enjoyed getting the opportunity to create a recipe too. It was heaven!
I connect with my audience where they are – on social media! I’m active on Pinterest, Instragram, Facebook, twitter, Google+ and Sulia! I find it allows me to better hear from my readers who enjoy viewing my projects on those platforms as well as my blog.
View each project as a client and give it your all! Also, take a local photography course because pictures really matter when it’s all that your readers can see of your project. So be sure they’re the best they can be. I’m always trying to improve my photography skills.
If I could, I would…be a regular contributor for entertaining and party food for a national magazine! It would be a dream!
Congratulations, Courtney! Check out her blog Pizzazerie.
