This afternoon’s SocialSpark release is going to be quick and painless. We’re just rolling out a few bug fixes and preparing for some exciting stuff coming out next week.

Fixed This Week

  • The Opp Qualification emails that were released last week were erroneously going to bloggers that were benched (but otherwise qualified) for an Opportunity. This will no longer occur.
  • When advertisers created a Smart Blog Roll during Opp creation and gave it a name, the application would crash the first time it attempted to save. This crash has been fixed.
  • An error message was occurring when Advertisers attempted to refill a CPC budget. This functionality has been restored.

See? Quick and painless. :) Next week we’ll be rolling out a new version of our avatar cropper tool (a HUGE win for people who are constantly updating avatars or creating Opportunities). We’ll also be launching some IZEA Insiders tools to help the team leaders and people who want to join in the action, and a slew of improvements to CPC and CPA programs.

As always, we welcome your honest feedback. Please feel free to take advantage of the GetSatisfaction widget appearing on the left-hand side of all pages in SocialSpark, or go straight to the Feedback area now:

Some features I would like to see:
Filter for qualified opps to only show PAID, CPC without them all bundled together, then when you click on POSTS you don't see only Qualified anymore.
Some sort of indication if slots are full at summary screen like shading that PayPerPost does, why open the opp to see if you have to WAIT or Request.
Option to turn off Friend Accept or Reject messages or automatically delete them instead of having to constantly clear out dozens of messages every few days.
