You might recall the SocialSpark Referral Challenge we launched a short while back, awarding the Blogger/Tweeter with the most number of referrals to the new SocialSpark platform an awesome trip to Hawaii. Well, we have a winner, and are thrilled to announce–and congratulate–Stephanie Dulgarian of SomewhatSimple.com.

Earlier this morning we selected the winners of the “Trek-It-Out!” promotion, and 10 lucky bloggers will have the opportunity to go see the new “Star Trek” movie courtesy of SocialSpark Advertiser Fandango. Shamrock T-Shirt Giveaway

Pull out your pilsners, fill-em-up with your drink of choice, and toast with us! The time has come to reveal the winners of the “Show Me Your Shamrocks” t-shirt giveaway. Sadly, we never reached 100 comments as we’d originally hoped, but I’m trying not to take it too personally. Lucky for those who actually “played” – they had better chances of winning.

Veronique and I thought it’d be a fun way to end the work week by making a video to announce the winners. (Sorry the quality’s not that great – we shot it on my camera, about six feet away.) Watch carefully…you could be one proud owners of a new shirt:

Blog Design Makeover promotion!

If you keep-up with our blog you know we’ve got lots going on these days. Case-in-point, check-out Ted’s post “Apply to Become an IZEA Insider”! (If you don’t read the blog on a regular basis shame on you…it’s the central hub for all IZEA information.)

Well, here’s something else we’ve been working on. The “Blog Design Makover” panel at IZEAFest a few weeks ago was such a hit that we’re teaming up with the guys at Unique Blog Designs for a monthly promotion, where a lucky blogger will get to have their blog “madeover.” This is your chance for change, and to make your blog the best it can possibly be. (Check-out the post I published week before last, about creativity and inspiration.)

Unique Blog Designs does awesome work! In addition to designing the current Shoemoney.com and JohnChow.com sites, we know they also redesigned Postie Heather’s “Beautiful British Columbia” blog. Here is what her blog looks like before and after:

So here’s the deal. If you want your blog to be madeover this month, write a post about why yours should be chosen, then leave the post url in the comments section of this post or leave a trackback. We’ll select one out of all those that are submitted, then makeover your blog into one of the hottest sites on the Internet. Well…that might not be true, but it’ll be darn good.
