Today in SocialSpark

It’s Tuesday so it must be SocialSpark release day! Actually this will be our last planned Tuesday release for a while, as our QA guy is going to be out of the office. (We’ll miss you Steve!) This release is going to involve some updates to several of our back-end applications, so it will mean a bit more downtime than usual. So take a break, eat some tacos, call your mom… Then come back and check out what’s new in SocialSpark today:

Fixed This Week

• There’s been an ongoing issue with stats getting set to Private after they were set to Public, and vise-versa. That should be fixed now.
• The email notifying users of a change in the CPC payment per click was incorrect; the previous price was overstated, but it is now correct.
• The CPC Refill Budget functionality was producing Javascript errors. Those have been nipped in the bud.
• Fixed an issue on the Manage CPC pages where the sorting was not working intermittently.
• The Big Bonus component on the Opportunities List was showing Sparks when there were no bonuses available on Open opps. This has been fixed.
• There was a Runtime Error on the Login page in IE7 which has been fixed.

New This Week

• When a CPC budget is replenished after it has run out of money, a message will now be sent to participants to let them know that if they removed the banners, the opp is live and they can reinstall them to continue getting conversions.
• All emails are now sent from do-not-reply@socialspark.com. The support@izea.com and support@socialspark.com emails will no longer work to create tickets in Parature. You’ll need to use the Create a Help Ticket link under the Help menu in SocialSpark or one of the help links on our other properties.
