Believe it or not, we have lives that aren’t completely surrounded by the web and social media; after all, we have to take a tweet break to prevent carpal tunnel. Although the Internet and social media are two gifts we’d never be caught giving back, we do like to take a step back and be thankful for what we have apart from the screen.
We asked around the office… “What is your number 1 offline new year resolution?” Here’s what the IZEAns have to say:
Pam: After approximately 2 seconds she responded with wide eyes and a smile… “To go skydiving!” Bet she’ll post the pics on her Facebook later though ; )
Crystal: “To balance my schedule a little better- I need to remember that time with friends and family should be a priority; being a hard worker sometimes gets the best of me.” Aw, Crystal, you overachiever, you!
Anthony: “I want to make it into the gym more often, I miss competitive rowing and I’d love to get back into the groove.” Or stroke, if you will!
Kate: Although I had my suspicions of what this recently engaged gal might want, I thought I’d let her share… “I want the wedding I’ve been planning for so long to be perfect, I want it to be the day of my dreams!”
Me (Amelia): I had to think about this one… offline? Man, that’s a toughy. I’d really love to learn more about photography. Then I’d like to take those skills with me on my trip to Europe and check off a few bucketlist items!
We’re putting you to the test as well! Respond in the comments, what’s your top offline resolution for 2012?

Go on a Metreat. It’s like a retreat, but it’s just with me. In working so hard to build my own business I haven’t taken much time to pamper myself.
Wonder if anyone has used “metreat” before because I totally just came up with that on the spot. Off to Google I go!
A metreat? I like it! Traveling solo is actually becoming a pretty popular trend, but I’m not sure if the catchy term has been coined yet. What did you find?!
I love the idea of a metreat. Although, a retreat for me will often include someone else. The best way to spoil myself is to be with others. I guess that’s the social part of me.
i like to join this for earn money through my hard work and dedication
