Hi Everyone!
A couple days ago I started a poll on the boards so everyone can help me decide where to send a donation. What kind of donation? One that’s taken me months to accumulate . . . I’m donating my hair! The details and the poll are here on the boards, and I need your help deciding where to send my donation. I’ve narrowed it down to two worthy causes – Locks of Love or Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Even if you don’t want to vote, you should check out the thread. Others have shared their stories about how they’ve helped out with or been affected by this type of donation. We love hearing these great stories – yet another way to show we can all make a difference in some way every day.
I’ll be cutting 10 inches off tomorrow, but am keeping the poll open until the end of this month. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!!

I’m really looking forward to seeing Karen’s new “look.” I think it’s great that she’s donating her hair, and look forward to hearing some of the similar stories from our Community.
The deed is done!
It was great, and I am excited to send in the donation once our customers have decided where it will go. I was able to cut off closer to 11 inches, and feel like I lost a couple pounds in the process! While I was there, I heard even more stories of folks who have done this! It was awesome!! I’ll add pics to the boards later today or tomorrow. Get your votes in before the end of this month!!

@ Ashley: Your post reminded me: Whatever happened to that charity event a long time ago where the MEN of PPP/Izea were going to shave their heads bald for a charity? I though they were going to shave at PostieCon but I never heard anything about it again.
@ all: Doesnt eveyone think that Ashley and others should put their locks up for charity to?

I know, I know! I was thinking about that as well. That was some sort of challenge Ted came up with. I’ll have to do some research because I don’t remember the exact details, but I do recall “shaving heads at PostieCon” being involved.
P.S. I will NOT be shaving my head, thank you very much!!!!

You mean you wont give up your hair for a good cause? I think someone needs to challenge you somehow. How about you set up a donation button somehow and if you get 10 people to donate then you shave your head LIVE on one of your luhnch shows?
