Laws can be written, they mean nothing if not enforced. That being said I think too mny people are making a big deal over these rulings. I mean it’s not too difficult to simply put a page on your blog with a few sentences that state ” I sometimes make a commission from the sale of the products linked to from this blog”. I am not a lawyer but to me the statement is pretty clear, concise and fullfills the requirement.

If not I guess I will find out if I am ever in court.

BTW remember the Napster copyright infringement deal some years back, has it really stopped anyone from illegal downloads?

Its my understanding overseas bloggers/product owners must comply also. I just dont see how they can monitor so much data. I guess you just have to safeguard your self so you dont get picked off.

Excellent article, and all bloggers should read whether they use IZEA services or not. My biggest concern is that companies may leverage overseas bloggers more to promote because they won’t have to disclose, even though some bloggers give a very fair and honest review of products, people can think if a product is “sponsored” the blogger is just saying whatever the company wants, and that just isn’t true in the case of good bloggers.
