Heather was born in the small town of Egmont on the Sunshine Coast in Beautiful British Columbia and is proud to be known as an ‘Egmonster.’ Her entire life–other than two of the most fun-filled years in Texas–have been spent living in and loving her Beautiful Province of BC.

During her brief time in Texas, Heather launched a website to keep in touch with friends and family who were spread around the globe. She regularly wrote of her family’s exciting events -  their daily lives, Texas living, and travels.

When she returned to British Columbia, Heather started blogging; it was an easier way to keep in touch with family members and her expanding circle of friends around the world. Heather joined PayPerPost in December 2006 and became even more enthused with this new means of communication, realizing she could pursue her lifelong dream of earning money while writing about things she loved.

izea_insider_tedheadsiiFive months out of the year, Heather and her husband enjoy a unique lifestyle: living aboard their 52 foot power boat, the “Jervis Mist.” Heather writes of daily life aboard, fishing, prawning, cruising and discovering the wonders of the unique BC coastline.
